Points System
THE POINTS SYSTEM
The Points System is unique this year. Each member must earn 40 points in first quarter and 20 points for the other three quarters. Points can be submitted online through our google form. Points will be accessible here on the website as well as at general meetings. If you have any questions about points, see the execs.
TIP OF THE POINT
Those who have high points will be given the opportunities to go on exchanges, attend conferences, receive special awards, and possibly receive scholarships to leadership camps.
POINT REVIEW
Those members that do not meet the point average at the end of the marking period/semester are to meet with an officer and adviser to explain the situation and review their progress. Members will receive a warning, and upon being sent to a second review, are dismissed from Student Government unless there is a valid excuse (i.e. long term illness, family issues, death in family).
